Pope Francis expressed his concern about the growing tension between the Palestinians and the Israelis, and called on the two sides to hold dialogue, according to “Russia Today”.
The Pope said during his traditional speech on Sunday in St. Peter’s Square: “I am following with concern the high frequency of violence and clashes between the Palestinians and the Israelis, as violence kills the future and eliminates hope for peace… I call on both sides to hold dialogue and work to build mutual trust, without which peace will not prevail in the Holy Land.”
