At least 27 immigrants died when their boat sank at dawn today near the coast of the city of Crotone in the Calabria region in southern Italy, according to “AFP”.
On the other hand, the Italian news agency ANSA reported that the death toll reached thirty, noting that the search operations are still continuing, but the high waves impede the work of the relief teams.
