Joseph Daoura, LL.M., D.E.A is an attorney and Barrister member of the Quebec Bar Association. He is a recognized arbitrator and civil and commercial matters from the Quebec Bar. He has multidisciplinary legal practice consisting mainly of negotiation, drafting of various contracts, and pleading various litigation cases at civil, provincial and federal courts, and of different corporate and commercial legal services.
He obtained a Lebanese law degree, French law degree, and master’s degree from the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut.
He studied Canadian and civil law at the University of Montreal.
From 2009 to 2012, he was elected as municipal councillor of the Town of Mount Royal and participated in promoting the best services and the urban development of the town where a lot of Lebanese Canadians live. In 2017, upon invitation from the Lebanese Diaspora Event (LDE), he attended the conference held in Lebanon with the ex-mayor of the town of Mount Royal, Philip Roy. He contributed with the ex-mayor of Mount Royal to sign the protocol twinning between Batroon and the Town of Mount Royal.
He took office as vice president of the Chamber of Commerce Canada-Liban, and has received recognition for services rendered to the Lebanese community from the Consulate General of Lebanon in Montreal.
