صحافية متخصصة تحمل اجازة في الاعلام من الجامعة اللبنانية، تابعت دورات متخصصة في الاعلام. عملت في مجال الصحافة المكتوبة والمسموعة والمرئية في لبنان.
عملت في الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام وفي الاذاعة اللبنانية قبل ان تتولى مهام امين سر المجلس الوطني للاعلام المرئي والمسموع، لها الكثير من المقالات المنشورة في المجلات والجرائد والمواقع الالكترونية تناولت فيها مواضيع طبية، اجتماعية، ثقافية، سياسية وبلدية.
أعدّت وقدّمت العديد من البرامج التلفزيونية الثقافية والاجتماعية والفنية والتي لها علاقة بالاطفال والتراث اللبناني والبلديات.
أعدّت ونظمّت برنامج تلفزيوني طويل عبر شاشة تلفزيون لبنان مع أكثر من 90 شخصية فنية، سياسية، اعلامية، طبية، ومجتمع مدني دخلت بموجبه كتاب غينيس للارقام القياسية.
كتبت وسجلت بصوتها العديد من المواضيع والكتب الخاصة بالمكفوفين والاعلانات لزوم بعض شركات الانتاج.
هاجرت الى كندا مع عائلتها منذ 4 سنوات وفيها عملت كمراسلة للوكالة الوطنية للاعلام في كندا وأميركا الشمالية، وكمراسلة لمحطة LBCI في فترة الانتخابات النيابية.
تعمل على ادارة موقعها الالكتروني الشامل AlKalimaNews الناطق باللغات العربية والفرنسية والانكليزية.
كتبت كتابا “من لبنان الى كندا، خبايا الوطن وسحر الغربة” تتناول فيه حياة ونجاحات الجالية اللبنانية في كندا وقد صدر باللغات الثلاث العربية، الفرنسية والانكليزية وهو الاول من نوعه في كندا حيث عملت على أرشفة التاريخ الاغترابي لثلاثين شخصية لبنانية، وقدم له رئيس وزراء كندا جاستن ترودو، السفير اللبناني فادي زيادة، القنصل العام اللبناني طوني عيد ورئيس غرفة الصناعة اللبنانية الكندية السابق شارل ابو خالد وهي اليوم بصدد كتابة الجزء الثاني منه والذي سيبصر النور في العام المقبل.
Journalist Jacqueline Jaber
Jacqueline Jaber is a specialized journalist holding a bachelor’s degree in media from the Lebanese University. She pursued specialized courses in media and has worked in the fields of writing, audio, and visual journalism in Lebanon.
She worked at the National News Agency and the Lebanese Radio before taking on the role of Secretary-General of the National Council for Visual and Audio Media. She has numerous published articles in magazines, newspapers, and online platforms, covering medical, social, cultural, political, and municipal topics.
Jacqueline has produced and presented various cultural, social, and artistic television programs related to children, Lebanese heritage, and municipalities. She also organized a long television program on LBCI with over 90 artistic, political, media, medical, and civil society figures, entering the Guinness World Records.
She has written and recorded numerous topics and books for the visually impaired and advertisements for some production companies. Four years ago, she migrated to Canada with her family and worked as a correspondent for the National News Agency in Canada and North America, as well as a correspondent for LBCI during the parliamentary elections.
She manages her comprehensive trilingual website, AlKalimaNews, in Arabic, French, and English.
Jacqueline authored the book “From Lebanon to Canada: The Secrets of Homeland and the Charm of Exile.” The book, the first of its kind in Canada, discusses the life and successes of the Lebanese community in Canada. It was released in Arabic, French, and English and is the first to archive the expatriate history of thirty Lebanese personalities. It was presented to the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, the Lebanese Ambassador Fadi Ziade, the Lebanese Consul General Tony Eid, and the former President of the Lebanese-Canadian Chamber of Industry, Charles Abou Khaled. Currently, she is in the process of writing the second part, which is expected to be published next year.
