Sweden, Denmark and Germany are cooperating in the investigation of the nord stream sabotage

“Welt am Sonntag” reported that Germany, Sweden and Denmark have organized a cooperation investigation into the Nord Stream gas pipeline blasts, according to “Russia Today” news agency.

The newspaper quoted security sources as saying that the exchange of information between German investigators and their foreign colleagues has intensified recently.

It indicated that Denmark, Sweden and Germany were planning to investigate the “Nord Stream” bombings within the framework of a “joint investigation group”, but that did not happen because Sweden withdrew from this group, then Denmark withdrew from it, due to privacy concerns.

On February 8, Nobel Prize-winning American journalist Seymour Hersh published the results of his own investigation into the circumstances of the explosions that occurred in the “Nord Stream” gas pipelines on September 26, 2022.

He said the United States orchestrated this sabotage, and wrote that during the “Baltops” maneuvers in the summer of 2022, American divers mined gas pipelines, and after 3 months the Norwegian side blew them up.

Hersh added that the decision to conduct this operation was taken by US President Joe Biden, after 9 months of discussion with national security officials in the US administration. Later, the Pentagon announced that the United States had no connection to the bombings of Russian gas pipelines last year.
